ShareMyHeart.com - Get What You Want By Giving...

I was sitting on a park bench in Zacatecas, Mexico this afternoon letting thoughts fly through my head like clouds sailing across the sky...

I have been a bit ill this week, which means my mind has wandered into dark places and dug up things that were not so pleasant...like being sick sucks, I don't really have the energy to do that, why isn't she calling me?  Self-centered, low-energy thoughts...

I weathered those moments, thanks mostly to a lot of praying and loving family, and the past few days have been increasingly wonderful, which gets me back to the park bench...beautiful afternoon, sitting in the sun, wondering how I could get my mind back on a positive thought track.

Give What I Want.  That's the reminder that filled my head.

Give What I Want To Get What I Want.  It always works for me.

If I Want Love in some way, then I first Give Love that way.

Always works.  Maybe not in ways I expect, but Giving What I Want ALWAYS makes me feel good, and other good things follow from that.

So here's Christmas staring us in the face.  A special time meaning many things to many people.  I think Christmas is almost universally a Special Time of Giving.

What do you want most for Christmas?  Beyond the "stuff", what does your Heart Want Most?

You might consider Giving Your Heart first...and see what happens next...

Where to Start?  Share Your Heart.

ShareMyHeart.com - Love Letters, the Un-Gift

I just did a Google search for Personalized Christmas Gift...

WOW!  TOTALLY OVERWHELMING!  I stopped after 5 pages...I doubt most people go that far.  The Internet is filled with stuff to buy, all the businesses pushing and shoving each other to get our attention so we will "click" onto their site and purchase.  Not much different than retail stores this time of year of course, but what happens to the "Spirit of Christmas" in this chaos?

Maybe the "Spirit of Christmas" was lost the moment we turned on our computers.

I remember my daughter asking me once during her college years what she could get her Mom for Christmas.  I suggested she write a letter to her Mom and tell her all the reasons she loved her.  At first my daughter didn't think much of this idea, it seemed, well, cheap.  Unfortunately, her mind had been conditioned by a society that says gifts should be "bought" to have value.  However, she reconsidered and wrote the letter.

Her Mom told me it was the most precious Gift she had ever received. She cried as she read all the reasons her daughter loved her.

In a world we have made so busy that we seldom stop to share our true feelings with those we Love, you don't need Google to give a "Personalized Christmas Gift".  You don't need to buy the "Spirit of Christmas." You can "Be the Spirit of Christmas."

You can write a Love Letter.

In Joy and Gratitude,
