This Precious Life

I just became an uncle again, three times.  My brother Tim and wife Nefer gave birth to identical girl triplets.  WOW!  Talk about miraculous!  As I watch the tiny trio, I am overwhelmed with the feeling of how precious life is.  And I wonder, what kind of life will they have?

What kind of life can I give them?  How can I serve them so that they in turn can give their gifts and serve others?

My 58 years have been filled with so many amazing experiences I often think I have lived multiple lives.  How do I take all these blessings and use them to help my new nieces, and others in this world, to have richer more fulfilling lives?

Serve.  Be all I can be for the betterment of all beings.  Give my gift so that others can be inspired to give theirs.

I have another young child to nurture too.  WhatMomWants.com was born this past spring with the intention of helping the world honor the women who love us so dearly.  As with other children, it seems the success of parenting is often based on listening, in particular to how each child fits into this world.  What are their gifts?  How do we help them realize them?  WhatMomWants.com now has siblings, HeroHusbands.com, HeroGuys.com, HeroGals.com, PresentsForDummies.com, MiracleOfMarriage.com, and ShareMyHeart.com.  Each site has the same intention, to help you share your feelings of love for the special women in your life.

That’s my intention for my new nieces.  To show them as often as I can how special and loved they are…just like you.

Life is precious.  Share your love with those around you.

Helping Heroes

Who are the heroes in your life?  Most of us don’t have John Wayne for a grandfather, but then most of us don’t live in the Wild West.  Life in today’s world has it’s own challenges though, and it’s own heroes.

For me, my heroes are the people who show up time and again to help me out, special friends and family.  I went through a very difficult period when my wife passed away and I don’t know how I would have kept going without the steadfast love of a few wonderful people.  One such friend is Faith.  You know by her name that she is special.  Always full of good cheer and good for a great hug!  Faith renewed my “faith” that the world was going to be alright again.

Do you have unsung heroes in your life?  We created ShareMyHeart.com to help you honor them, a simple way to share your feelings for that special person.

I would love to hear about your heroes and how we can help you cherish them.  Drop me a line at stephen@whatmomwants.com

Keeping the faith,
